My Review: 4.5 STARS
The story behind this memoir was heartbreaking. Amaya was just a normal girl when her life was turned upside and she found herself out on the streets, then even more betrayal, pain, and heartbreak. Amaya finally escapes this terror... I really enjoyed this book. I prefer stories that are based on factual events more so than fiction and Barbara's memoir was very gripping story that held my interest to the end.
